A recent comprehensive interview with Don Pugnetti Jr. on Bremerton Kitsap Access Television (BKAT) focused on A Coat Dyed Black. The program was sponsored by the Kitsap Literary Artists & Writers group. It hosted by Andy Becker, a fellow Gig Harbor author whose latest book is The Spiritual Gardner: Insights from the Jewish Tradition to Help Your Garden Grow. Interview is about 20 minutes.

Here’s what the News Tribune’s Community Newspaper, The Gateway, reported on A Coat Dyed Black

Don Pugnetti Jr.’s first recorded interview about the Norwegian resistance during World War II was in 1978. Pugnetti, who goes by Jerry, was a journalist at The News Tribune in Tacoma at the time. Decades later, the Gig Harbor author’s book, “A Coat Dyed Black,” has been released.

The Greater Los Angeles Writers Society recognized the February 1, 2022 release of A Coat Dyed Black

GLAWS member and Pacific Northwest author Don Pugnetti Jr. in February released his historical novel A Coat Dyed Black.  Set in Nazi-occupied Norway during World War II, the book transforms a young farmer into a courageous resistance fighter against brutal oppression and tyranny.
